Sing meinen Song
“The recording of “Sing meinen Song”, which took place in the 8th season, was filmed in February 2021 in Germany under strict hygiene regulations. Due to these requirements, we also planned for the greatest possible safety in the audio department. Fortunately, Li.LAC was presented at the same time as our preparations, whereupon we immediately contacted LAC Labs. It was easy to rent a Li.LAC unit for the production period.
We used the Li.LAC device to regularly disinfect 8 handheld wireless microphones. We were convinced by the simple handling and the problem-free integration into the production workflow. We were able to hand over freshly disinfected microphones to the artists and recording managers at any time, without causing any delays. Disinfection with UV-C light also allows to adequately disinfect the close-meshed grille of the microphones, where disinfectants often leave behind moisture and odors. From our point of view, Li.LAC is a simple and useful tool to use – not only against COVID viruses, but also against cold bacteria, which hopefully will soon be our greatest concern again.”
